Does anyone know where the best place to park thats close to the strip, but not too close that we will be trapped. And how is it down there? I dont want to go into any expensive bars or places, i just want to be down there at 12am.

I would park at the Hilton, because you can take the tram anywhere on the strip and return to the Hilton station when it is over.

Circus, Circus near the Post Office is the best place to park near the stip on New Years.

Hey don't try to park anywhere near the strip tonight. Your best bet is to take the bus it should be free tonight. They will get you to and from the strip safely. That way you don't have to worry about driving under the influence.

I'd park at Monte Carlo. It's pretty much center on the strip and easy access

Park off of the strip as you won't get there anyway they close all major streets to the strip at 6pm It is crowded there are over 300,000 expected and it is wall to wall people. Park at the sahara hotel and you can walk to where you want to watch as this year there are 5 hotels letting the fireworks off and you will be able to see them all. If you can check out Fremont street as the doobie brothers will be preforming there and it's a party there too but off the strip scence all together. I have lived here for 37 yrs and I watch it all from my living room. It's less hectic and more safe as we like to party to bring in the new year. Have fun and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU

Its best to park far away and just walk trust me I go every year and it the same ppl are everywhere and it hard to get out so we just park away from it and just to the strip or you could catch a ride or bus to get down there

Parking will be a major issue. The Fashion Show mall is parking cars for $50, really. I would Park at The Orleans or Gold Coast and catch ride to Strip or watch from their parking lots.

OMG!!!!! Iwas down there on New Year's. What a mad house. My family and I were pushed. We got elbows into our heads. I would not recommened that to anyone. We didnt even get to see the fireworks. I swear, all of Nevada was there.... HORRIBLE!!!!!!
