I have always voted republican for president. However the republican choices this time around are way too creepy to vote for, sick of the religious right crap.

However, the thought of socialized universal healthcare is just as creepy and would be an adverse effect to our everyday lives. Are any of the bleeding heart candidates not for it and who are they? I like Obama, but I hear he has one planned like Hilary.

Please correct me if I am wrong and which way do you think I should vote: Creepy Jesus Conservatives versus Communist-like Healthcare Proponents.

KIZIAH...there you go a real answer, a bit whiny, but excellent. yes there is a problem with healthcare, but socializing it without choices is not a solution. as for the 47 million without it, I pay for mine, they can do the same (with some help at first of course, then do it yourself no slacking). Saying that you are most likely responsible and if you lost yours you would work to get back on your own and not make me pay for it, I have my own family to care for first - survival.

shonester..hilary is a snake, how can a life long cub fan even wear a yankee hat and claim she has always been a fan. if you can not be true to your team, how can you be true to your country, Bill though would be a great guy to party with.

How can one claim to be a christian and vote for a president who promotes the death penalty invading nations so that your buddies can get rich leaving thousands of people stranded in a flooded city after a hurricane depriving poor people of food, shelter, education, and health care and, ummm, oh yeah TORTURE?

Take a look at Joe Biden. His healthcare plan is not as overbearing as Hillary's.

There are 47,000.000 people in this country without any kind of health insurance. The health insurance I have is through my husband's employer. They hold $182.00 out of each of his 26 paychecks every year (just to give you an idea of what our healthcare insurance costs us). If he were to lose his job tomorrow, we would join those 47,000,000 other people. Also, our insurance has no provision for mental healthcare, so I can't afford to be depressed. It wouldn't even pay for my husband's Chantix, even though he would probably benefit greatly healthwise if he were able to quit smoking.

I fell and broke my arm this year. It cost us about $2,000 of our own money after the insurance company paid what it considered eligible charges. We also paid about $3,000 out of pocket on co-pays for medications that we both have to have. Something is definitely wrong with our current system of healthcare.

Schools are for the most part government controlled. Does that constitute socialized education? Would you rather finance your children's early childhood education? It's bad enough to have to pay for college (I've had two children graduate from college, and we're still paying for it).

I think both Obama and Hillary propose that people be given a choice between participating in healthcare plans sponsored by the government or continue to use their employer health plans. They don't support total government control over healthcare. The thing that worries me about Hillary, however, is her failure to devise a viable plan when she had the opportunity as First Lady.

Even if you don't like Michael Moore, watch his movie, SICKO. He tells it much better than I can. Some of it is very melodramatic, but there's a lot of truth there, too.

In short, I'm voting for Obama. The Republicans care nothing about the common man.

The only candidate who made sense in the debates is Ron Paul. I would vote for him.

Check out Ron Paul : www.ronpaul2008.com

He was a dr..so he has a pretty good idea on how to handle healthcare, and as far as religion goes? He does not discuss his religion in politics and is not like Huckabee where he rams any sort of religious belief down your throat.

Vote for the least evil rather than not voting at all because the worst candidate might win.
