a mustache is located between the nose and the mouth, along the upper part of the mouth.
A beard is on the chin, and may run from the sideburns on the left to the sideburns on the right. Or it may be trimmed into just a small area of the chin.

Well since ya already knw the location of both mustache and beard... here's a different answer to ya question....
A mustache might make ya look trendy (greatly depends on ya face and physique)
However a beard will surely make ya look aged (somethin like 30+)
But tht's jus my perception...

A mustache is hair that is grown on the upper lip... between the nose and the mouth. A beard is hair that is grown along the jaw line and on the chin.

Mustache is above the upper lip, and a beard usually encompasses the chin area (but beards vary greatly).

Your moustache grows on your upper lip -- and most girls have at least some moustache growth.
Your beard grows over all the other areas of your lower face. Fewer women than men have beard growth.

All the same thing, also known as an edger. A haircutting clipper does not cut as close and has a wider blade. I was a hairdresser for 12 yrs.
