Hi Shari - yes I will, but I do not believe the improving my life-style will involve bringing in extra money! Improving ones life style should not depend on money but rather on the satisfaction one achieves but reappraising the way one lives, and by prioritizing our wants and needs. As I have very few wants and almost no needs my 2008 lifestyle will not change too much. However, I do plan to "thin out" some old jewelry (to give to my niece) , clean out closets (give to the Salvation Army), and hire a new cleaning lady. The cleaning lady I had previously has developed bad knees and can no longer do this type of work! So after Jan. 2, I will be placing some ads. A Very good Question! HAPPY NEW YEAR! CJ

A little tip assuming it is warm enough too do so where you live, normally swimming is a very exercising sport and known to help loose weight best. Hockey sounds good if that interests you. If you walk 20 minutes or more at a time. Being slightly overweight is normal. As long as it is not too far out of hand.

Gosh, golly, gee whiz. i dunno. Probably turn the lights out every time i leave aroom.Don't buy things you don't really NEED. .In some areas, switch to a dish instead of cable. They have good programming too and are usually cheaper. Sometime they have deals. Check the Internet. DISH and DIRECT TV. Walk instead of driving to a place nearby. There really isn't much one can do to make a significant change.[stop eating for 60 days. no more bills] Just kidding, Shari. I know its hard. Wish i could give you a good answer. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Cleaning up junk, putting more money away.....right now I have hords of "stuff" that was my parents. Don't use it....half doesn't work....but I've hung onto it because it was my parents. More effort to maintaining what is good. I already recycle.....I need a job and need to put more effort into that.
I need to loose weight and eat healthier. I've been in a major funk for a couple of years and haven't done myself much good staying in it. I've pretty much locked myself away and I can't do that anymore. Life is going on without me and I need to get in the game. Time to pick myself up by the boot-straps and move on.

A new career move is in the works, with better pay and better hours. More time helping the seniors in the community.

Hi Shari, I am in the process of downsizing and sell most of my items on Ebay. I can make some pretty good money on there. It started while I was off sick last year and struggling to make ends meet. I was earning almost $500 a week with what I sold on Ebay. Wally, if you want to live in Indiana, you can move in with me!!! Happy New Year!

I like Wally's idea. I cook and do dishes, too. ;+)
I'm always trying to improve my lifestyle. I start more classes the end of January. I have a lot more purging of extraneous junk from the shed and closets. I intend on taking more trips in the trailer and maybe getting a new job.
Looking toward starting to take some of that pension money starting at 62.... 1 year and 1 week from now and doing a LOT of traveling.

I am hoping one of you beautiful single senior ladies will invite me to move in. Two can live a lot cheaper than one. And the companionship could keep me alive a lot longer I am sure!
