Person that made a difference in a critical problem.?

Question

Do you agree that one person can make a difference in a critical problem such as racism and discrimination? If you think so, who do you think can do this or have done this. (ie: Martin Luther King, etc)

It is ironic, but the other person besides Martin Luther King is Martin Luther himself. John Huss, Wycliffe and I'm sure others but those are the ones I could name off the top of my head.
