The body is quite incredible in many ways. If you are a woman going through puberty, from the time she is born to puberty, the process of making estrogen is the job of the Adrenal Glands. At puberty, that changes. The job is then given to the Ovaries and the Adrenal Glands stop producing estrogen. The reason for this is so that small children won't get pregnant and have babies because their bodies are not developed enough to handle that. In boys, a similar thing happens where sperm is now produced and they are capable of making babies.

At the same time, the body realizes that it needs to grow bigger, so the onca genes turn on and rapid growth happens, until the body realizes that it is large enough and then the onca genes turn off, and the rapid growth stops.

All these processes are God's or natures (whichever you prefer to believe) way of handing responsibility to those that have a better developed brain for handling tougher jobs in the human race.

By the way, in women, the job of making estrogen goes back to the Adrenal Glands later in life when the body realizes it's too old to handle making babies. This is called "menopause."

Puberty is a good thing. You are entering adulthood.

It is part of our growing process. You see, when we are babies we teethe so that we have teeth and so on, this is just another part of the human body. At this point in your life your body is getting ready to be able to concieve children. You are becoming more of a "man" and your body is changeing into the adult that you will eventually become. Its natural to feel weird while these changes are going on... so dont worry... its not all that bad. Good Luck and Happy New Years!

People are a type of animal called mammals. They are not born sexually mature or able to reproduce, but they become sexually mature through a process which in humans is called puberty. Their bodies change and they are able to engage in sex.
