They are taking over and getting troublesome...

Yes, I know I have to clean up the kitchen...I have to get in the mood...I am not so sure dish detergent will kill them, there was a bunch of them on the dish detergent opening...

Wave a sticky lint brush around, taht will catch many of them. Might even want to pour a bit of orange juice on it, so they will be attracted and then stick.

if you are sure they are fruit flies and not some other type of gnat, find the source they are coming from. It can be from a banana bunch on the counter, or a piece of fruit that missed the garbage can. Once the source is gone they will be gone quickly

Place a bowl of fruitjucie mixed with dishsoap in the room. They will be attracted to the fruit, but the soap will kill 'em.

Fruit flies have a short life ( 2 days) and survive off old foodstuffs. Check around the kitchen very carefully. More than likely you will find an onion or potatoe ( or a bag of either ) that is starting to go bad. Get rid of it and they will be gone within 2 days. Same thing for open bags of flour or pasta. If you want to keep pasta after opening, put them in a zip lock bag and seal it. I hope this helps you.
