ok my mom and dad got married and had me ten they got a divorce and my mom married my stepdad then my mom died and my dad got custody of me then we moved in with my stepdad and his friend and now my stepdad is going to get married and his new family is going to move in and i still live here and call him my stepdad and i would consider his new wife and stepson my stepfamily. is that screwed up? is that wrong?? help!!!

2nd of all i dont need the sarcastic remarks ok? my mom being dead is a hard thing for a teen like me to go through. sorry if you didnt like this question maybe you shouldn't be on yahoo answers. you try living the way i do without a mother ok? ok!

Every family is screwed up in one way or another, believe me. So I don't think that it's screwed up for you to live with your stepfather and his new wife. Do they care about you? Do they show you love and respect? Do you care about them? I think you'll be just fine. If you had to explain the situation to someone, they might feel confused...but you don't necessarily have to let everyone know what's going on in your life.

No,that is life.you only need to get a good adaptation to your new family,and try to live all happy as you can.Every family around planet earth some time has changes,up and downs,but that is humans life.Good luck,and have a happy new year 2008.Good question.

Your family is fine, it's just not the "ideal" nuclear family that American culture promotes. I had a friend who went through about the same thing. He ended up living with his stepdad and his wife and they got along great. So, no, it's not wrong.
And no offense, but please, please, please break up your sentences with some kind of punctuation. This was a bit hard to read, seeing as the first bit was one really long run-on sentence.

you live in a home where there is love and acceptance - it doesn't matter if they are a step family or biological - the love is there all the same. Nothing screwed up about people being family.
