There are so many rude people who are horrible to waitresses/shop keepers etc....I hate that. It doesn't take much to be nice, just a simple smile. No attitude needed, Are you one of those people? Be honest. Star if you're polite.x

i basically treat people how they treat me..
if someone is polite to me then im polite back to them
If theyre rude then im not going to be polite..ill be rude right back to them.

I used to be very polite and engaging with waiters and waitresses alike, but it always made my girlfriend/wife mad because she thought I was flirting. So now I just smile and say thank you.

I am very nice to clerks. I was in the grocery business for years. Met every type of kind and evil soul. Now that I am out, I ever do anything I can to try and uplift those still in the trade.

I may be polite to a fault. I tend to let people walk all over me cuz I won't hurt THEIR feelings! But, I'd rather be this way than rude!
