I would have loved to have been a young woman in the 1920's or 1940's. It would have been very interesting to see how women went from the homebody, dowdy "little woman" to the sexy, free, working at a job or being "kept" flapper. The clothes were pretty awesome, btw. I also would loved to have seen how everyone pulled together during WWII. Women once again got to strut their stuff by working at jobs once held by men only. We "gals" did a pretty dadgum great job, too! The clothes were really snazzy, too. lol So put me down for 1905 or 1925.

anytime in the 1800's ..if some one broke in your home, harmed your family, stole from you..you could just kill them. then the deal with over . Save all BS the court system puts victims thew. Only not to get justice..just a piece of paper or half hearted sorry for you loss. some people just get away with to much now days. Sure you can lock them up. However that cost tax payers money . And it really don't help ether side of the problem. It is life a band-Aid on a gunshot wound. Most only return to there bad ways when re-least . some like it better being locked up.. they don't have to deal with the real world and it problems. like food, place to stay, health care, Job..bills. Then some b*tch about the conditions when locked up.well it is not the holiday Inn,get over it . It is punishment not a resort vacation. Eye for a eye.. not 25 with 10 to serve .-3 for over crowding -1 good time served.and so forth.

Ok so I just wanted to comment on the person who said they wanted to be born in the 50's because of the music and "Lucy Balls"..... I agree that the era was quite incredible and I myself would like to have been able to be born into it, but do me a favor and get it right.... Her name is Lucille Ball.

the 60's. i would of taken advantage of all those young, easy, female hippies. wouldn't have been hard:
'hey dudette, look at my like, tie-dye clothes girl...i'm like soooo stoned dude......lets strip and make the love, its our free will against the capitalist regime'. i wonder where all those hippies are now? oh thats right, working for companies like microsoft. real liberated liberal company!

I think the year I was born in was fine, though I'd quite like to be born under the Tudors...so 1540.
