The concierge at your hotel will give you free comedy show tickets, take the tram from hotel to hotel and the trolley to Sam's Town, there is a Mall quite close to there.
Look at some books on Vegas at the book store, or on line.
Rent a car, go to Calif. Utah, Ariz. OR take one of the MANY
tours. (And please don't forget to go DOWNTOWN at night)
you will enjoy it! You also may enjoy riding the City bus to Downtown, quite interesting people on it, mostly employees of the hotels etc. My friends and I have.
Have fun!!!! ( Too many places to go in such a short time, be selective.)

Ohis has the right idea, but you'll also want to keep an eye on what the weather's going to be like. Bringing the wrong clothes can make you miserable. Getting into shows can be tough because for the good ones you have to order tickets in advance (unless you go to one of the Hotel Time Share speils, I think the one next to the M & M Factory had Show tickets for yaking your ear off for an hour and a 1/2). So it may or may not be worth it...

There are a couple of good afternoon magic shows, like Extreme Magic with Dirk Arthur in the Tropicana.

There is lots to do. Go to www.lasvegasnow.com for a major list from Channel 8 TV. There are museums - Madame Truseau wax, Natural History Museum UNLV, Test Site Museum on Tropicana, and one at Venetian. There is the movie theatre on the Strip. Go to Orleans or South Point and you can bowl or see a movie and have a great buffet.
If you have a car get directions to Springs Preserve on 95 at Valley View. New. Free outdoor walks and low priced indoor exhibits. I would not recommend the Las Vegas Zoo, small and depressing.
Hoover Dam is a long drive but you go inside this huge structure and there is a visitor center.
Red Rock Canyon is a nice drive at the far west of the valley to see the natural Vegas valley and a visitor center. Down the "street" is Bonnie Springs Ranch where you can horseback ride if weather is good.
We have a regular city with regular leisure activities, the challenge is to find them LOL Have fun.
