If it's not a program you intentionally installed then rename it with a safe extension or delete it.

Example: Rename gogo.exe to gogo_exe.bak .

There is no such thing as "GOGOTO~1.exe.

If you are using Microsoft Windows platform, there are times when an application will hang in the module and Microsoft apologizes and says that an error as accured and must shut down. Or you need to restart your PC.

If this is the case, not a big deal, just shut down, or the application that hung, will close down and Microsoft will ask you to send an error report.

That's not the full name of the executable.

Whenever Windows encounters a "long file name" it makes another version of the name that conforms to the old 8.3 DOS file name format.

So maybe the executable was named GOGOTOGETHER.EXE or something like that.

Whatever it was named, you should be able to find the executable on your system by doing a search for GOGOTO*.EXE. That will show you the full name of the file. Then you can do an online search to see if that file is legitimate.

Just a quick search, though, shows that it may be from GOGOTOOLS, a part of an Adware "browser helper object". In other words, it's reporting your browsing habits to someone else.

Get rid of it.
