I really like how every single person here hasn't actually answered the question and just said something else to feel like they matter (ie. go flame homeopathy).
If you want something that isn't exhorbantly expensive, your best bet is to study something in the alternative health field (which I'm a fan of). However, my guess is that you want to be an MD, so that's out of the question.
This was the best list of medical school costs I was able to find
for private;

It's strange that baylor is at the bottom (11k a year) since I've heard so many positive things about it. Those fees might be for domestic students or people who have residency.
for public;

Data on canda is a bit harder to find. This was the best one I could pull up

According to that, canada is cheaper than the US, and their cheapest one is University of Montreal, for $2,224 a year.
The exchange rate with dolars is getting worse also though.
Anyhow, I hope that helps and gives you a good answer to your question!

Don't know about the US, I'm in Canada.
See link below for list of Medical Schools in Canada, you will need to check each University website to find the number. Bear in mind that many have a lower fee for students from the same province, a higher fee for out of province students and a still higher fee for students from out of country. Almost all Canadian medical schools will require you to be a Canadian Citizen or landed immigrant.
Admission to Canadian medical schools is difficult, only about 15% of applicants are accepted. You will need to write the MCAT and the deadline for application for the 2008/2009 study year has passed.
However, fees are not a major hurdle as banks will readily approve generous loans for med students.

Snarley, English might not be his native tongue.
St N, maybe this person simply cannot afford it?
I had to work my way through college, and it was very hard. A more expensive school would have been out of the question.
Science geek: point well taken, but I don't think anyone would equate Homeopathy with a medical school. It's quackery by most people's standards.

We often see hypothyroid symptoms totally reversed when commits to a plan that supports balance through nutrition and daily self-care. Learn here https://tr.im/O2eqO
Consume foods naturally high in B vitamins, such as whole grains, nuts, and seeds, and iodine (fish, seaweed, vegetables and root vegetables).
Exercise daily, at least 30–60 minutes per day, 4–5 times a week.
Practice deep breathing and other techniques that trigger the “relaxation response” – such as meditation and guided visualization.

It's cheaper for Canadians. International students pay about double which, I'm told, is still not unreasonable compared with the US.

Why do you want cheap? You should be looking for a quality school! Is there a way to do a search for programme = medicine and rank the results by tuition?
