well...what a question...perhaps if you met them and then physically met them and dated etc. just to meet one and fall head over heels for an avator. well, not in my world. but then I am an "Oldie" and have been around a few times...What do you really know about somone you never met??? How do you know what they say is true??? many are here for the fun and games and use and abuse others. very sad. sorry to go on and on. But I too have had family that met on line and married.........just to come here and ask questions and fall in love.......please.........the person that does will end hurt and used and before long find the "other" has moved to a prettier avator...or thinner!!!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.....What we live and learn!!!!!

I think anything is possible in this day and age...you have to keep it realistic though-how do you know if a person is being 100% true and honest with you? Especially if you are prone to be a trustworthy person who only sees the good in people. I think if you took the time to really get to know them, to talk on the phone over a long period of time, and then finally graduate to meeting them, then who knows what the outcome may be. You here lots of really happy outcomes from people that have met on line, some being here answering your questions....and I think thats wonderful. Maybe the mystery and the anonymity of just chatting to begin with is the key to finding someone you connect with?? If it works for you, who are we to judge?

I dunno I never tried! Do you think it is? I found a person that I felt as if he were my very own son! He lives in India his name is Dj. He has not been on line for a long time and I miss him very much but I loved him very much. He was a GREAT kid and he had a wonderful heart and I felt like his Mom really! I look forward to seeing him on here again someday! I have also made some dear friends Wolfkiss who is very dear to my heart, we share so much in common and others they all know who they are and you! I don't know. Is there true love at first sight? No, I don't believe you can truly love someone on line because you only get to know them on the surface, what you think you see, not deeply first as a friend.

How can one fall in love with a computer persona? How could you be in love if you don't know the person personally, face to face. Very immature and a little scary if you ask me and you did so........

Yes you can and I have. The man was 29 I was 14 haha petofile. But I knew him really well from a long time before. Nedless to say i told him i couldn't speak to him anymore.

It killed me :)

well....i met my husband in a chat room 10 years ago...we took it slow and dated for awhile...we have been married 8 1/2 years....so yes it is!!
