I wouldn't exactly call you a big game hunter, but you did catch some game.

Ring it's neck, gut it, then bake it into a pie. Don't worry about de-boning. The little tiny bones will grind up nicely while chewing.

I'm always catching mice,as my cat brings them in and they run around the kitchen. I usually put them back outside, I think that's the kindest thing to do.

hell be fine as long as he eats, get a bag of food and see if he will take some, you can also feed him table scraps.

as for handleing him, dont. he may be sick, or stressed, or just not friendly. if he wont eat or drink let him go somewhere away from houses, captivity can be stressful, but as long as he looks happy he will be fine

id say wait a week to see how he is and then based on his behavior you can try to hold him, but be carful he may bite.

if he is in a wire cage he will get out (unless it is mesh) he will not excape an aquarium.

I think he would be ok if you let him out, but if your worried let him out tomorow when it gets warmer during the day so he can find a warmer place before the cold sets in. Or you know just keep him if you want to :) I commend your concern for our furry friends hehe xxx
