Cannot think of one for where I live at present except to say that Nick Park is from the same neck of the woods and he made his first animated film at the age of 13 in his parents attic..
The film ::TheFull Monty:: was filmed in the city where I was born and grew up :)

Yes, Robo Cop 2 was filmed here in Houston and also Sidekicks with Chuck Norris and Powder was filmed in Manvel near Houston, also My Best Friend is a Vampire, Armageddon was filmed in the NASA Space Center in Houston too :)

I feel so left out here. The only movie that I know of was the 2000 Sean Bean vehicle back in 2000 "Essex Boys" oh yeah that sounds soooo glamorous I actually attended an open call to be an extra, they took my photo and stuff but that was it.
Have decided as an added bonus for those who are fans of:

There is a scene in Resident Evil where the girl is running across these two buildings, those buildings are the Mel Lastman Square which is about 15 minutes away from me, in down town Toronto.

Everywhere I go there is some kind of filming going on.I live in southern California.Jerry Maguire was filmed at night around my parents neighborhood.They lit the street up like it was day light.I see filming in and around Los Angeles often.

Yep at the courthouse in our village. It stars Danny Glover & Whoopi Goldberg but for the life of me I can't remember what it was called. Probably one of those straight to video kind that you see on late night t.v. I'll keep researching.
