What does the word "domination" mean in Genesis when referring to cattle?

It is actually referring to the entire earth not just cattle. It is used in the context that God is giving men the responsibility to be stewards or caretakers of the earth. Some people think that it means that men are supposed to rule the earth and there is a sense of that meaning. However, the predominant meaning of the word in the original language is to be given responsibility and the power that comes WITH that responsibility
