You are not obligated to him any longer. You owe him no explanation. If you have children together maybe you would like for him to meet him after you are married so that as their father he knows who his children is going to have involved in their lives as a step parent and if he has issues with it is his problem. It is what it is.

If young children are involved in the scenario its probably a good idea to let the ex's know at least 30 days before the event, then the little ones! The adults should be aware in case the kids have a problem with the wedding plans!Not that it will change your plans but kids sometimes have a hard time with this stuff.
