I have never had flu because I drink Tropicana Orange
juice (fresh not concentrated) and I think that's what
keeps me free from bugs.
You can try other sorts as well, as long as it's not concentrated.

As for the flu, you can read, watch television, play on the computer or go to bed.

IF you can hold a phone, call everyone in your family & all your friends to ring in the new year ...

Lay around and take your medicine and if you can stay awake watch the ball go down, toast the new year with the juice of your choice then turn the tv and lights out and get plenty of rest.

First and foremost, DO NOT go out and infect other revelers!!!!! Instead, curl up on the couch with a hot (nonalcoholic) toddy, a blanket and the remote. Watch the New Year come in on t.v., then conk out on the couch all night long (your body knows best what it needs -- sleep, sleep, more sleep, fluids, quiet, rest, clear fluids, no milk, no booze, more rest, Theraflu, etc. (Get the hint??)

I do have the flu. I've had it now for 37 days. Somedays worse or better than others. Today I have some strength, tonight I'm going to work. And after work, I hope to be asleep well before midnight.

Lie in bed and watch the ball go down. Call your friends at midnight, and tell them you're a wonderful buddy because you didn't show up and pass your illness around. Don't worry about it...the partying is not all it's cracked up to be. Feel better fast!
