I am trying to figure out how to make vertical lines stop. I am using the formual (1x+250(X>5)(X<4) but I cannot figure out how to do this with vertical lines. Can someone help me?

Vertical lines would be in the "Y" plane, so you wouldn't use "X", silly...

And you can't be using the formula you typed because it has a parenthesis missing!

All I can tell you is that the vertical is the inverse, if that helps.
