hey everyone ! i was thinking about getting a personal trainer at my local gym and doing this 6 week fat loss program (refer to link)
http://www.goodlifefitness.com/personal_... .aspx
but now here is the thing, i asked a question in regards to this particular program, and some people on here have done it and said it does work...but one lady said that she was mostly only using a treadmill and the cost is $599for the program. now if it does only consist mainly of treadmill work should i just buy myself a treadmill ?i can get a treadmill for around the same price !
what would you guys suggest ?

If its for the same price, than i would suggest buying a treadmill, at least this way you can have it forever...But knowing its in your house, means that your less likely to do it, and not stick to a routine....

I have had both. I love the treadmill cause it is convenient. My trainer worked me really hard but I looked good so no complaints. I had one that said, 'hey does that hurt do you feel the burn' and I would say 'hmm yes' and he would say 'great 20 more.'
The treadmill kept me lean
he kept me built

My first preference would be to not use a personal trainer or a treadmill. Although there are times that I would like to have a treadmill (such as when the wind is blowing 50-60 mph whipping up the snow), I prefer to walk out doors as much as I can.
Given the 2 choices, go with the treadmill, especially if you have room in your house for it so you can use the toilet, get a drink, snack, whatever whenever you want, or even watch your favorite TV show/video.

Treadmill.
Also, goto http://www.coolrunning.com
Great website for running. Just use your treadmill during the winter and rainy days, and run outside on the nice days!

a personal trainer will be able to help you target exactly what you need to work on. they will also help you with strength, not just cardio. it's a better choice to use a trainer.

Well I would get the treadmill, because it's easier working out in your house, and not having to always drive there. Depending on how far your gym is, you might actually save a lot of money!
