What do you mean by "strongest" and who is "our"?

Exxon-Mobil and BP are probably the most profitable at this point. Conocco Phillips comes in probably 3rd.

I think that Exxon-Mobil is a US company but BP (British Petroleum) probably not. Conocco Phillips is also a US company.

UPDATE: They are all publicly traded companies so they are owned by the shareholdres. You can probably find a list of majority shareholders on their web-pages or maybe on the NYSE web-page, but they are all publicly traded so no one person owns them.

The big names include Exxon Mobil, British Petroleum, Citgo, Marathon, Chevron, etc.

Shareholders own these companies. CEOs run them.
