Yes! i am young(er), under 35 and cant even imagine my death. But when i went to lawschool i was educated on how important having a last will and testament is. Really, if you want someone to have something give it to them while your alive but if your unwilling to part with it until death then a solid legal will should do the trick. go to an attorney - dont risk your assests going to the state or against your wishes just because you bought a prefabricated will at stop n save.

yes a long time ago, I think it is a very important thing to do. So that your last wishes can be carried out and anything that you want to go to someone special gets it. otherwise anything that you have is left for your family to sort out. I think that upon your demise they will have enough to deal with

Yes. I learned this lesson when my father died without one and my mother almost had to sell her house to pay death duties.

Yes and it cost me £140 for a single relatively (no pun intended) uncomplicated will, gosh darned Solicitors. I haven't included any instructions for the disposal of my corporeal remains since I'll be dead and won't care. I have always fancied a Viking funeral though, being cast adrift on the Thames in a burning longboat. I expect there are all sorts of Health & Safety regulations that forbid Viking funerals.

Yes. It took ages because I wanted to get it right and when you start thinking about all those things it does your head in a bit. But now it's done I can relax.
