Congratulations Emeka!!!!!!! You stumped the so called pros on this question. ya know why? Cause 350 Chevy small blocks didn;t come out till 1967 and was only offered in the 1967 Camaros' and not until 1969 were they offered in the rest of the Chevrolet line-up including the Corvette, So the question you asked that some said they were positively, absolutely know what goes in it , well now ya know. Ok, looking inside the car at an automatic wether on the floor or the dash look at the P R N D -2 -L it had a turbo hydromatic. If it reads PRNDL it was a powerglide. On the column stick shift is a 3 spd and in the floor was a 4 spd

The correct answer is the Chevy Power glide it was a two speed automatic transmission,it was available in to different gear ratios for low or 1st gear 1.87 and 1.76 drive was 1to1,if it was a standard transmission as you did not mention it being a SS car,it would have been a column shift 3 speed Saginaw transmission as the only cars equipped with 4 speed standards were the SS models.
