would you rather her stay home and care for the kids,clean,cook ect.......or go to work and have the kids in daycare?

i perfer stay at home mom as thats how i was raised. also because if i/we suddenly come up with a spur of the moment weekend getaway she doesn't have 2 try getting time off.
kids need at least one parent as roll model when growing up, i learned morals and values from having my mom home when i was younger and it wouldn't hurt todays generation of "latch key" kids 2 lose their latch keys and come home 2 an open house and a family member.

My husband left the choice up to me whether to work or stay home with the kids (we have 3). I am college educated and had a great job, but I realized that the kids needed me more than any company did. Money can be very tight at times, having gone from two incomes to one, but in the long run, both my husband and I believe it is worth it. No day care worker can raise our children better than I can.

Its not a decision that one alone can make. Too many variables, like does she want to work? A family is based upon many things one of them being a fair and equitable relationship where both parties make a decision. If she wants to work, great if not its fine by me as well.

I stay at home but work a few hours a week part time at a work at home job...
Once the youngest is five things will change though I will definitely need to bring in more income

As a female I and my spouse would love to be able for me to stay home and kiss his ***, however we live in the real world. I think the world would have less problems today if more women were able to do the old fashioned house wife thing. Don't get me wrong - I'm successful in my career and happy with working, but part of me would love to be able to just focus on home and not feel torn by the two.

Work outside and we both take care of the house....and who ever gets home first cooks dinner...
