One thing I just want to say is that don't give all hopes up..
I kept having period cramps and swore my period was comming and my month was not this month, I ended up taking a pregnancy test anyway..and BAM ...3 positives yesterday...so even though u have period like cramps don't think it's done for the month..because it doesn't always mean that :o) ! I'm still cramping it scares me, but they say its normal and I'm having no bleeding at all...just discharge.

YES VERY EXCITING ! These cramps just scare me...they are just like period cramps....butobviously 3 hpts told me I'm pregnant!lol

The cramps are normal. But what scared me the most was gas pain, I thought I was having a miscarriage it hurt so badly. Like I was rocking in pain and constantly changing positions. I was terrified!
The next 8 months are going to be the most weird and awesome changes your body has even gone through.
Also, don't let anyone scare you with their delivery stories. They feel like they have to tell you and it just puts you in a panic. But for me it was soooo wonderful, not THAT painful, and completely surrealistic. Also, the head literally pops out of your pelvis, it's way cool and feels very interesting. Not weird at all, but cool, you'll love giving birth. To this day I wish I could give birth to my son everyday... But man you are tired afterwards and very hungry.

Also what makes pregnancy detection a little difficult is that all the PMS symptoms are also symptoms of pregnancy.

Thanks for the kind words. I am hoping I get my month soon. We have been ttc for 17 months and had an early m/c 3 weeks ago so we are hoping it will happen quickly now. Best wishes to you and all those ttc!!!!
And the cramps are completely normal, my cousin had them the entire first trimester.

Don't be nervous about cramping it's totally normal... your uterus is growing!! By the time you are 7 weeks pregnant, your uterus is already 5 times its normal size! Congrats!!

I agree...with 2 of my 3 pregnancies I had cramps that felt just like my period cramps and lasted off and on almost the whole pregnancy but was the worst during the first trimester and cooled off in the second but returned the third..lol
My babys are completely perfect and healthy and cramps are one major sign that u are pregnant even though it can be mistaken for pms...congrats and good luck and ~*~*baby*~*~ dust to all those TTC !

Aww, congrats! Same thing happened with me, I had cramps, moodswings, All the classic PMS signs, kept saying "anyday now it will show up." Nope I was preggers! Good luck!

The cramping is entirely normal, and can last up until about 8 weeks.
