I mean, if I signed out of their account and signed into mine, and authorized their comp. for my account. Then bought the game on their comp. If I go home, can I transfer the game from my iPod to my comp. when I go to sync it with my library?

Just transfer purchases from your ipod to your computer and it will add the game to your computer.

Syncing will erase anything not in your itunes library. Manually manage your ipod if you plan to use it on several computers.

Nothing will be on your computer until you put it on your computer. Itunes accounts are just ways to buy and authorize purchases. Your itunes library isnt synced to your itunes account. Your ipod isnt synced to your itunes account. An ipod is synced to an itunes library, not an account. A computer is authorized to an itunes account, not synced.

Well the game will be in your library too so you don't have to transfer it from your iPod.
