I have done that...
Think about the distance between Canada and Fiji Islands.
I went to meet him and went back 6 months later to wed him.
Our papers r on the process for him to come and live here with me. I thank God I found him. He's a nice guy with family values and we have an equal belief. He's a Pastor's child. That helps him with a high moral and characters.
I consider myself lucky.

I have a friend I met in literati 4 years ago. Her name is Mary Anne, but I call her Mak. Sometimes MakkyBoo...LOL...we still play scrabble. She lives in Pennsylvania and I live in Florida. I feel like I've known her forever and sometimes I forget we've never met. She has an open invitation to come visit anytime and she knows it. I hope we meet someday.

I have met in person two friends I have been friends with about 10 years each from online in the last year...
Both were from different states and one came to my state and I met him and the other I went to his state and met him...
Both were as nice as had been online and I am still friends with them...
It was great after all my years of being friends to finally meet in person...
I loved it...

I met my husband on Yahoo. We were in a chat room and he sent me an IM. It was 3 am where I was and 4 am where he was. As I was in OK and he was in FL. So when I moved to FL later that year we finally met. And we have been together eversince. We have met a couple people through myspace. Very nice family. We are still in contact. My hubby and I have known eachother for almot 4 years and been married 18 months. We have been together for 2 1/2 years.
