I had a letter sent off on Dec. 27. Here it is, the 31st and still no letter. It was only going from Missouri to Texas. Thats 8 hours away. WTF?

Its always slow this time of the year do to the holidays and high volume of mail traffic.

Ordered a cd 4/20-4/21 scanned it's 4/27 and still in the state of origin.. no more will I order anything from the east coast USPS sucks..
next eBay purchases I will request another shipper 6.00 to ship carrier piegon..took me less time in a motorhome.realy lousley service. but then what do you expect from a government run service.

I think their deadline was December 20, to send out cards and packages if you wanted them received by December 25.

Well first of all it's only been 3 days postal days. And second the piece of mail doesn't go straight from there to your house it is processed at numerous mail distribution places where it is then rerouted to another one closer to where you live. If you live in a large city and so was where it departed from you may get it sooner, if either place was a very small town it can take longer. If you needed it that quickly you should have paid for faster delivery, that's why it's offered.

it probably is because we are still in the busiest season of the year for mail being delivered....if you wanted it sent any faster you probably should have driven it there yourself
