Okay so for christmas i got a whole bunch of iTunes giftcards but i cant seem to find any music that i like. So can anyone suggest any music for me?!

Likes:
Maroon Five
Colbie Calliat
Taylor Swift
Carrie Underwood
Jack Johnson
Motion City Soundtrack
It has to have either good dance beat, good vocals (cool accents), or good lyrics (like something that hits close to home or like sweet, love songs), and hopefully a combination of those!

Dislikes:
"Dirty" Music
Too Country
Rap
Elvis
Billy Joel
in-understandable music
Classical

Dont say just wait some good music will come out soon cause thats not really helping, unless you mention a specific artist! Thanks for your help!!

the new BLAKE LEWIS cd, AUDIO DAY DREAM (aka ADD), is really great. blake was runner up on american idol last season, and his cd really shows off his vocals and ingenuity, not to mention his beat boxing skills! i bought it two days ago and i haven't stopped yet!

You didn't say what genres you like. You already have some good picks. Try Mariah Carey, some old Whitney Houston, Neyo, Nelli Furtado, etc... There's just too much to name. Sample some on Launchcast.

Try :

Sara Bareilles- "Love song" and "Bottle it Up"
Rooney- "When did your heart go Missing"
Corrine Bailey Rae- "Put your Records on"
Mcfly- "That Girl"

Those seem like they would fit your taste, plus they're really good!
Good luck =D

Check out KT Tunstall. Very folky-rocky, good stories in her songs, too.
