Iam considering a move to England. What kind of issues would I be facing with my ex. I have full custody and he gets visitation. If he were cooperative concerning these matters would courts stand in the way? Would grand parents have any rights concerning this matter? Please give as much detail as possible. I would be very happy if you said Christmas and summer vacation and maybe fall and spring break from school would do. This is a serious matter to me. Thanks for your time.

If everyone agrees the court will normally sign off. However, you should make the change legal by filing a change. if the change is not in writing and approved by the court you could find yourself in trouble latter on. Since everyone agrees, a lawyer should be able to prepare and file the papers rather inexpensively.

Only you can decide if you should leave him or not. His fear of loosing you again may have been part of the reason he didn't tell you about the child. That doesn't make it right though. Has he deceived you about anything other than the child since you have been back together? It really all depends on what you can and cannot accept. Talk to your husband, go to counseling, do whatever it takes to TRY and make it work out. You said he is a "good man" and you love him dearly, don't throw that away. Good luck to you.

You cannot remove a child from the country without the other parents written permission.

The grandparents have no say in it.

The courts get involved when parents disagree... As long as your ex is comfortable with you removing the children from the country(get it in writing!), you have passports/visas, there shouldn't be a problem... Transportation costs for visitations would fall solely on you though....

wow to another country...have you talked about this to your ex? My fiance has a daughter we live in Florida and she lives in California.. He hates it because he only gets to see her twice a year he is missing her childhood and feels bad that he cannot be there for her as much as he would love to.. You should really talk to him and see how that feels and try and put yourself in his position.. if he had full custody and he wanted to move to another country..well no grand parents have no right concerning this..
