Vinegar is a good floor cleaner. If you have small children or pets, I would recommend it more than chemicals. Often, pets will track traces of dried chemicals on their paws and lick it off.
Vinegar is non-toxic, cleans floors, and leaves the place smelling clean.

Vinegar is a great alliterative mix half a cup to a gallon of warm to hot water. Vinegar is a great disinfectant. I've never tried it but I have heard that you can put a couple of tablespoons of olive oil in to the water as well for wood floors to give it a shine.

As long as your comfortable with temporary sharp smell of vinegar, go for it!

It will clean the floor just fine.

Vinegar will work. Or you can use glass cleaner, about 1 cup per gallon or less of water.
