He did when I married my first husband. It hurt because I'm close to my dad. But he was right about my ex.

I would feel awful, but that wouldn't have happened to me because I wouldn't have picked someone to marry who was so awful that my family would feel the need to turn on me. And no matter who I would have married my Father would never turn his back on me. Luckily though, we all have very good relationships with each other and it is sad when I see and hear about people who don't love their in-laws for what ever reason cos it is just like getting a second family to love you and care about you.

Well if my dad didn't like the guy there would be a good reason becasue my dad's very laid back and likes everyone. So i would probably rethink marrying the guy.

it would bother me immensely because my dad raised me he was my mother and father. but i can't help who i fall in love with and hopefully he will come to know and love the man i am with.

actually, that happend to my aunt. my grandpa didn't speak to her for 13 years.. i feel so bad for her. actually, i only met her like a month ago. she was crying soo much when she finally got to see her parents.

bad but if i really loved my man i would stick with him no matter what b/c my dad wouldntr have no reason to dislike him and yes i would still love my dad like i do
