A reciprocal is basically a fraction flipped upside down. So your fraction is -9/7, flipped it would be 7/-9 or -7/9. It doesn't matter where the negative sign is because the result will be a negative either way.

Reciprocal is just the "fancy" way math people talk. It simply means turn it upside down.

In this case it is 7/-9 There are other kinds of reciprocals, but this will do for now! I may add that this simple concept can be quite useful!
