it's not usually the exact placement, it's just that it's new.

any new thing can cause a change in sleep patterns and dreams. When you get used to the location, they will go away.

There is a reasonable possibility that the new position of your bed means that it is no longer as level as it was in it's previous positon. Such small things as this, together with differences in light, sound, or ventilation in the new position, can affect your sleep patterns and cause you unusual dreams, until the novelty wears off.

Don't forget that your over-vivid imagination can also affect the dreams that you have. Stop worrying about it and the problem will disappear.

Dreams are only glimpses of the brain's filing system at work, and are certainly not meaningful no matter what the so-called dream interpreters might say.

They say the best is directly north/south or south/north.

I suppose it could... I doubt I would sleep too well if my bed were attached to the ceiling or walls... :)

Honestly; I don't see how unless it changed some stimuli (ie. lighting through windows or being exposed to heating vents that might make you warmer)...

Perhaps you merely subconsciously don't feel comfortable or accustomed to your new bed position since you were so used to where it was before and that causes you to react with strange dreams or nightmares...

I'm just guessing...
