I have had a lot of utility ATVs and the best for the money would be the Kawasaki Brute Force 750. The new 2008s are fuel injected.

Yamaha has some great Utility ATV's specifically the new Grizzly 700 FI EPS. They're fuel injected and have electric power steering. They have on command 4WD which means you can ride in 2WD, 4WD, or 4WD locked differentials. They're great machines, the Ultramatic transmissions are great and smooth operating due to the automatic centrifugal clutch which keeps tension on the drive belt so that its not slipping and causing the belt to wear out prematurely. Also they are shaft driven front and rear.

I own a Grizzly 450 Utility ATV and its pretty much the same as the 700 minus the Fuel injection and power steering but all of the other features are the same, just a smaller engine.

Grizzly 450 $6299
Grizzly 660 $7199
Grizzly 700 FI EPS $8199

The Honda Foreman 500 is the best affordable 4X4. It offers great features like unbeatable reliability, selectable 4 wheel drive, and a manual shifter. Avoid CVT transmissions, they are less reliable and suck hp. If I was buying a 4X4, it would be a Foreman 500

first off it's a utility ATV not "big bad boy ATV". And best and affordable should never be uttered in the same breath when speaking of ATV's. Therefore your question is unanswerable.

Suzuki, they are less expensive and just as good and I believe offer more power than the Honda Utility ATV's
Suzuki 700 King Quad is priced at $6299 where the Honda 680 is $7599, and the Yamaha Grizzly is at $7299
Suzuki is your best value!
My personal thoughts on utility atv's is I refuse to own any cvt belt drive models, the drive belt slips when it gets wet or when you stall it. I own a Suzuki Eiger manual that's gear drive, and I will go where the belt drives can't go.
The only gear drive models out there are the Suzuki Eiger and Vinson manual, and the Yamaha Big Bear.
Whatever you buy, "DO NOT BUY A POLARIS
"""""""""" POLARIS IS JUNK"""""""""""""""
