practice your material until you are confident you can do it without a mistake. What you are feeling is natural everyone gets stage fright one time or another, for me its when I have a big audition. Usually during the actual show I have absolutely no fear. So practice makes perfect. I recommend choosing a few friends or your family to perform infront of to get used to performing infront of people.

Well of course you're nervous, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. My acting coach doesn't believe in stage fright, he calls it a heightened sense of awareness. You're more aware of your surroundings. That's what makes you nervous. But being aware can help you succeed. Just think of it a motivation. You know why you're there and you obviously enjoy what you're doing so just practice to be the best you can be. Break a Leg!!

Almost everyone who is there will be nervous, too. It isn't stage fright, it is just worry. Relax, it won't make any difference in a year what happens there.

OMG I do this all of the time. I just think, I'm doing this to have fun, don't care about the surroundings, do a cute smile when you mess up.

Of course your nervous. It's what gives you the edge in an audition. Accept that as part of what an audition is and you're halfway there. When coming to an audition, make sure you are familiar with the part you are reading for and be sure to breathe deeply before trying to speak. It sounds weak, but breathing really is the key to controlling your nerves. `Arrive in enough time for the audition so that you aren't flustered. As regards the boy, he's probably nervous too.

When I was in my school play, it was the first time I had a big role coz I decided to be brave and auditioned for it, I was so nervous but when I got onto the stage, something came over me, as soon as I started talking I felt fine, no nerves at all and I think you'll do the same, just breath deeply and remember its not the end of the world.

Practice your lines so that you will not be nervous about remembering them. Also practice picturing yourself successfully saying your lines and imagine yourself getting the part. It sounds silly but will help your confidence a lot. You can really trick yourself into being confident. Most importantly smile and have fun! Good luck!
