The big corporate corrupt money is going to the candidates they can buy off and get favors in return. That is why Hillary leads all candidates in corporate contributions.

Most of those polls only survey a small number of people from a very select group - namely people who were registered republican and voted republican in the last few elections (as in, anyone who voted for Bush.)

If you look at the fine print, you'll see the actual number of people polled is usually not more than 1200. (Some I've seen were less than 500 people.)

Many of the earlier polls didn't even list Ron Paul as an option. People had to choose "None of the Above" if they weren't for Giulliani, Romney, Huckabee, Thompson, or McCain.

In polls where people had to physically show up to a voting area (in many cases they had to buy a ticket to vote) known as "straw polls", Ron Paul has won over half of them.

Of course, you don't hear much about this on the news. And there have been a few cases reported about tampering with them. Here in Florida, Romney's supporters were caught on video stuffing the ballot boxes by voting multiple times in order to win it. In a straw poll event in California, the poll was abruptly canceled when it became clear that Ron Paul supporters greatly outnumbered the other candidates. Another such poll in Texas denied Ron Paul supporters admittance into the voting area. (see links below)

I think it is clear that Ron Paul's "official stats" are severely misrepresented. The question people should be asking is why they are being so blatantly slanted by the media and these so-called "political experts"?

Ron Paul is our only hope for a lot of reasons.

The reason his stats appear low, is he is not backed by the CFR special interest groups who have huge influence in the mainstream media....

.....As PROOF of this ask yourself why Mr Huckabee recently shot to near the top of the Republican polls when a Mr. Richard Haas, President of "The Council on Foreign Relations," was very recently appointed as one of his advisers....?????

Yes, Ron Paul is one of our last hopes for a return to Constitutional government. One of the reasons his stats are so low is because of bad or no reporting of him from all the major media sources. Another reason is that some people don't agree with him on every issue and they choose to ignore him because of that even if they don't ignore other candidates for that same reason.

He is so low because his supporters don't have land line phone and therefore can't be polled.

A rather large and growing chunk of the population is cell phone only. Polls can't contact them.
