I was in your smae situation a 2-3 months ago...all you have to do each and every day is stretch and keep pushing yourself.
Try these stretches:
1. Deep lunges (on your knee) hold for 35 seconds, and really lean into it
2. straddle(sit on your butt in a v shape and spread your legs as far apart as possible.. and lean to each side) Hold for 20 seconds
3.Hold each of your splits for 30 seconds (keep pusing yourself you will eventually get it.)
4. Stand up and reach for your toes.

Remember to always warm up before stretching (walking, jumproping, jogging in place)

Dont give up and remember to stretch everyday.

yoga! There aint a better way to learn flexibility.... capoeira is another thing you could try but that's more martial arts oriented, however it is used in samba b/c of the way slaves used to mask capoeira as a dance...
Stretching everyday does help but practicing is key. Im a bellydancer and i had to learn how to do back bends 30 inches off the floor while shimmying. It looks easier than it is but you got to strengthen legs and back. I fell backwards a lot of times and couldnt hold my shimmies b/c that was energy i could use to hold my backbend position instead. But it's all about practice. Good luck

Take some Yoga or Pilates classes...these help with flexibility...
I am a classically trained dancer, and taught for quite a few years...at your age, you didn't say what kind of dance you'd like to do, you are a little old (yes, even at 15) to just be getting started...unless you have some natural talent..
Not saying not to go for it...just keep in mind that the older you are, the tougher it is...
