I know the world has pretty much been taken over by ipods but for those of you who like to still travel with a couple CD's on hand, what will be blarring out of your speakers when you turn the ignition on? ...I have a Trixter CD ready to crank for my ride home from work.

Actually that brings me to a bonus question. How many of you forget to turn the volume down before you shut off your car/truck and then almost die of a heart attack when you get in and start it back up? ...I'm far too guilty of this one.

Not like I haven't said this enough, but I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year! :)

Squishy: When I seen Dokken, that really caught my attention LOL. They are one of my favorite bands. Queensryche are also a bad *** band. I seen them live this past summer and they really rocked out.

Jame H: Yep, Trixter as in the 80's band. I'm an obsessed 80's hair band fan. LOL. I have their self titled album in my player now. I have a short commute to work so I only got to listen to "Line of Fire" and "Heart of Steel" but needless to say, I had an enjoyable ride haha.

Cory K: I know exactly what you are saying about the expensive stereo thing. I went all out last year and threw in all new high performance speakers which had to be customized to fit my doors because I wanted them bigger then standard size, a high powered amp and a 10" sub, so either I turn my car on and almost die or I use my remote start from my house to get the inside warmed up and forget that my stereo was left that loud and have the cops at my house. For some reason my neighbors don't like getting woke up at 5:30 am to blarring hair bands? I can't imagine why? LOL

Soulslay: Thanks for the warning. I'll do the best I can to watch out for the pigs. You try and do the same! LOL hahaha.

Steven25: I notice that whenever I forget to turn my stereo down, it's always to the same type of songs you mentioned; Accept, Scorpians, etc. I was going to say that I never have this problem when I'm listening to idk.. Hall n Oats but maybe thats only because I never feel the need to crank them up lol.

Tammy: Great choice with the Tesla :) They are one of my all time favorite bands.

Rckets: I'm glad I'm not the only one with the heart attack issue haha. Every time that I'm in my car I tell myself "turn the radio down BEFORE shutting the car off"... then the next thing I know I'm getting in holding my heart gasping for air. Ok.. so I'm exaggerating, but still lol. Happy New Year :)

I have a 6 disc changer, and in it right now are Alice In Chains, Metallica, Queensryche, Black Sabbath, Godsmack, and I was listening to Dokken when I got out this morning. I'm guilty as well of leaving the volume up, and Happy New Year to you as well. ;)

The Sixx AM Cd is in my car right now... I LOVE it. My neighbors have complained about how loud my radio is in the mornings when I leave for work, because I forget to turn the radio down. It also scares the living crap out of me when I forget, however, it does seem to wake me up better than coffee... =) Have a great new year!
