pluck in short fast strokes and do it when you just get out of the shower...the pain is less that way

You could always go for laser hair removal and do away with both plucking or waxing forever. Can be expensive but something I definitely think is worth it. And the eyebrows and lip are probably the cheapest to do.

I agree with the first poster...do them after a shower. The hot water helps to open your pores (hair follicles are included in this) so the hair comes out easier. If you're not up for that, a hot compress will do just fine.

If you're only doing a few hairs it's not bad. If you have to pluck more than 10 from each brow you might be better off waxing them. Also, as you pluck hairs, they come out easier and easier, with less pain, but eventually they won't grow anymore.

Ok wether you are going to pluck with tweezers or get your eyebrows waxed, the best way to minimize the pain is to use a skin anesthetic. GiGiHONEE Anesthetic Numbing Spray you can get it at like Sallys Beauty Supply... spray it on about 3-5 mins before you remove the hair. Its a temporary anesthetic for your skin. Helps alot.

it really hurts anytime after
but the easiest way is to get it proffessionaly waxed
you have pain for like 2 seconds and its over! :-D
your eyebrows stay a little red for like an hour but the hair doesnt grow back in weeks! its really good to wax and it makes the skin soft ^_^

Hold a wash cloth soaked in warm water over your brows for a couple of minutes. It will make the hairs soft and loose and easier to pull out. It will also decrease the pain. I don't really think there is a painless way to get rid of eyebrow hair. When I first started plucking my brows, my eyes would water and I hated it. Now I'm so used to it I don't even blink.

Pull the skin tight with your other hand.
Also, your skin will become less sensitive there as you pluck regularly.

I like getting them threaded better, though.
