The Shawshank Redemption. A beautiful film about hope, friendship, struggle and perserverance.
The Shining. The only Horror film that can be called a masterpiece. The Overlook Hotel exudes evil.

The best were The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Stand By Me, The Shining, The Dead Zone, Carrie and Misery. The Stand and It were good made for TV productions. That's quite a resume right there. (Of course, there are some real lousy ones too).

Shawshank Redemption.
It's a serious departure from most of the King movies, but it definitely stands on it's own as a great film.
Second place is "IT", but that's more properly a mini-series and not a movie.
