Having seen what it does to one, I think it would be a relief to be on one`s own, even if that is not such a nice thing; at least then it is to only one`s self to contend with.
Anyway, I am often talking to myself and am sure it would be seen as (?).
So, no, I think the person suffering would gladly change places with a non sufferer. After all, why take medication if they are happy to be that way.

...me thinks you are confusing this condition with Multiple Personality Disorder or D.I.D...Schizophrenics, in general, don't have multiple personalities, so, basically, your question is what is known, in laymans terms as, "barking up the wrong tree."......................

You shouldn't make fun of this disorder. I had a friend who was schizophrenic and he hanged himself. He was found in a freezing cold field by someone who was walking their dog the day after he'd done it. His family were distraught and he must have been feeling very lonely and desperate to have done such a thing. He was a nice person and didn't deserve to die like this.
You should think before you post stupid questions like this. No doubt you think you're very witty, but anyone with any sense just thinks you're a pathetic jerk with no life experience, knowledge, sensitivity or wisdom.
