Not that there's anything wrong with that, but :

He was obsessed with drawing male members when he was younger. He admitted to best friend Evan that he got all weak in the knees when he gazed into the eyes of an attractive male classmate. He acted like a jealous boyfriend when he found out that Evan was rooming with Folger at Dartmouth, not to mention how angry he was that Evan was even going there without him. There was that incredibly awkward scene at the end where he's lying next to Evan in sleeping bags when they tell each other "I love you" and start hugging (I thought more was going to happen). At the end, when they both serrendipitously meet and hook up with the girls they were after in the mall, Seth keeps looking back with sadness and longing at Evan. IMO, Seth clearly is supposed to be gay, or, at the very leasy, bisexual (Evan might be too, but this is less clear to me). What do you think was the intention of the writers here?

yeah i dont get it either- i had loved the movie but then this ending part sort of ruined it for me because it came out of nowhere. i dont get what happened at the "sleep over" because clearly something went down there.

before that scene i had just thought they would miss each other the way best friends do when they go their separate ways- but after the sleep over they acted more infatuated with each other.

I have this thought from the very beginning, when Evan said something like "at least you get to suck on you dads d***" when Seth said "you are so lucky you get to suck ur moms t*** when U were younger". I first thought it was a clarification to each characters sexual orientation, but then I just waved it off as a insult thrown at eachother and its a hollywood comedy so obviously it's all about drowning in p*****. But then through out the movie they have done some pretty questionable things...and the sleepover scene was one big one and leave me very confused. Also I noticed when they were at the mall Seth was trying on the jeans and indicated the jeans were too tight, Evan was biting his lips?? In all honesty, I am so completely fine with that but the movie just took to a really different turn if all of those things is what I think it was ._.

1 I don't think he has any remorse. Even if he does there'svery little of it. He'll try ot cover it up by justifying it, saying that he had to do it to keep himself alive because Voldemort would kill him if he didn't. makes me wonder why the Hat put him in Gryffindor 2 Hah! She's got inferiority complex when it comes to Blood Status. For all we know she could be a Muggle-born who's too ashamed to admit it. Dunno why she hates half-breeds but it could be because they have the best (at times) of both worlds. It makes them unique too. And she just loves making people miserable, it's her idea of being happy. man, she must be a really miserable old toad. Only happy when others are miserable Of course she knew the Ministry had fallen. She doesn't care who's in charge as long as they oppose harry Potter, and will leave her alone to make his life miserable 3 Good question. Maybe Bellatrix fed him a Love Potion. There's not much mentioned about him in the book. So I assume it was because she's a pure-blood. He may not have noticed (or just ignored) the fact tht Bellatrix's got a masive crush on Voldemort. 4 As for Voldy being ugly, only Bellatrix can give an answer.

TBH until they begin their quest for drinks it's filled with clues. Non stop. He slaps him and asks Evan to join him on a trip to the bathroom. NTM he draws ***** all day.

It's almost as if Act II tests their "interest" in having sex with females.

Final scene just puts this theory to sleep.

Don't forget the obsession/disappointment of the idea of McLovin being Evan's roommate.

I think the intention is to show how growing up as a social outcast is a little awkward.

You might have too much time on your hands to be analyzing Superbad.
