What should one do when a magic becomes too great for one to handle? When the stem of the magic is natural, but it spirals into nothing but hate and destruction, but is too in-routed to a person - to a living being - to ever destroy?

Magic begins and ends with your imagination and power of suggestion. You have the power to eliminate magic from your life once and for all. It's a very simple step. Are you ready?...

Cease believing in it. I am dead serious. The only power magic has over you is the power you give it.

An interesting question. What is it that makes you feel that your magic is out of control? IMHO, the stem of all magic is natural. After all, what is it we do if not work with the forces of nature? What begins to change it is the intent of the caster. True magic is neutral. Again, IMHO, "black" and "white" witches do not exist per se. The only thing that makes a black or white witch is the colour of their skin. ;-) What changes and shapes you as a person will also change and shape your magic.
I would ask you, what is in your heart when you cast if you find yourself with these feelings. If your magic is spiralling into "hate and destruction" then you need to take a step back, stop casting and take a long, deep look inside yourself at the reasons why. Because ultimately, this will be coming from you, not the magic. Ask yourself why you feel like this, and look at how you can take steps to change it.
As witches/spell casters we are all responsible for our actions and the effects of those actions. Remember the old addage, "Be careful what you wish for?" It's very true.
All magic is routed to the earth, and as you begin to use it, it becomes routed in you. It becomes shaped by your thoughts and feelings, as I've mentioned.
Take some time out to examine yourself and your feelings before casting again. Feel free to e-mail me if you want to talk. Hope this helps. Blessings.

Several things,

1. There is white magic and there is dark magic.

2. Dark or black magic - the magic of the ego - does not last and sooner or later turns against the one who performs and invokes it. The consequences will be worse than the temporary relief you may find.
.
3. White magic is difficult and requires a trained mind. Remember the sorcerer apprentice cartoon in Walt Disney´s Fantasia movie. http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=LD8HDta7Z_4

4. The best thing to do is to stay away from delving in occult practices, unless you have a knack for it which few people have.

5. Praying and invoking the Light of Truth is the best magic you can perform. The more intense and sustained your wish the better results you will get. Don´t give up on more "conventional" methods.
.
6. Keep in mind that nothing occurs arbitrarily. "Even the hairs on your head are counted". The Law of Cause and Effect rules everything, which does not mean there is nothing you can do about it. Your free-will allows you to choose which path to follow, just make sure it is the one you want.

7. "What you do to others you do to yourself".
.

Don't worry, that can never happen. Magic (the supernatural kind, not the stage tricks kind) doesn't exist as far as can be detected.

I see that you have found the ying/yang of all that the universe holds. ANYTHING that is ultimate good, eventually swings the other direction. All forces used to the extreme dwindle out....it was the hardest lesson to date I've had to learn. If you were the creator of the force you are the only power that can truly dissolve it. Others can try, but it always goes back to the origin. We each have the strength to create positive in our life....and learn to deal with the negative in the most responsible way we can. Love, Harmony, Peace

I understand, like if you are a level 5 cleric, and you find a +8 daggar of far seeing which requires you to have a level 6 or above cleric, or a magic user to use.
You need to consult with your dungeon master about your local rules, but most dungeons and dragons groups allow you to hold onto the item in your inventory until you level up. However, it may mean you will have to put something else down if your local group used strength of the character to determine weight limits of what the character can carry during an adventure.

Call on the name of Jesus, and repent from the magic. Jesus is the ultimate power, but he will do nothing if there is going to be no profit.
