Apart from the instant communication of the Internet, I love what I can do with my still photgraphy and movie-making. What is your favorite computer use ?

When it is slow at work,it makes time go a little faster.I enjoy e-mailing family in Texas and Louisiana....

As my family is spread all over the world - my favorite use of the Internet is to send them pictures and emails and generally keep in touch with them, and to keep up to date with the latest family news.

Listening to streaming audio of English short wave broadcasts from different countries. Right now I'm listening to Radio France International from Paris. I find using this method in place of my standard short wave receiver gives me better audio quality than my receiver and I can listen to various stations at my leisure. The link below will give you link access to the web sites of those countries' short wave outlets where you can do the same thing (not all broadcast in English). It's real news!

Being able to find information on just about anything I want...if I see something on TV that I want to learn more about I am right here at my computer looking it up.

I use it to write and mail articles and photographs mainly.Still a bit wary...things like "Burn" which to me meant to damage or destroy ..account meant something to do with cash. I've had it all explained now...I think.

I study behaviors of celestial bodies, sun-spots, coronal holes, among other things. I also do some photography work and image analysis.
