I was in high school and kind of a personal assistant to this old lady who was a travel agent (though not a very good one) -- but anyway she was always real nice to me and didn't really make me do much of anything except to sit and listen to her stories from back in the day, and I didn't mind that caus she had some interesting stories and it was such an easy way to make money when all my buddies were out breaking their backs for the same amount of money. Anyway, when I graduated high school and was about to leave for college, she gave me a round-trip ticket to Spain, already paid for. It was the best gift I've ever gotten, the easiest job I've ever had, and she's not alive anymore but I'm forever greatfull to her.

The first welding shop I ever worked in. It was a small mom and pop shop...everyone was either related or friends of the family. Had to leave to forward my career but I loved it there.
