Well,You might have a problem. If your parents are against there is a chance that you wont be a child star. But have you try sitting your parents down and talking to them about it? Have they been to any of the plays that you been in?I no stupid question but I'm for real. Some parents don't support it so they don't got see there children. You need to stress to them how important this is to you.If they still say no Wait till you turn 18 years old. They wont have a say any more unless you live in there house.I hope this helps you bet is not then I'm sorry.

Good Luck!*!*!*

Now, see, you have to pick a story and stick with it.

If you've been the lead in 134 productions (:D), your parents can't be "TOTALLY against" the whole acting thing, now can they?

And if you were really in 206 productions by age 13, I'm sure you could tell me more about how to get acting jobs than I could ever tell you...

well its good to see someones life out their is just like my life. hi by the way am 16 and my parents don't want me to become an actor because they think its not a good career. but am going to tell you what to do. If you want to become an actress stay in school and after school go to college and study BETC National Diploma In Acting for 2 years and after college go to university and don't study acting because you don't need and acting degree to become an actor. when you go to university study something that will get you a good job just to be on the safe side. for example if you don't have any success in acting you can always go back to you degree and get a good job. my parents want me to do construction so am doing construction in university and acting in college when i get my degree i can move to Los Angeles and act but if i have no success in acting i can go and get a job in construction and earn up to $85,000 a year Betta then nothing LOL.

Your parents have your best interests in mind. They love you and want what's best. Sit down and talk to them about your options. If they don't want you to act professionally then move on. Amateur performances are still a great start for a young actor. Just continue what you're doing. You already are taking the right steps.

Sorry, but you cannot do a thing without your parents' approval. They have to sign all legal documents for you until you are 18, so professional work is out unless they want you to do it.
