They are able to attack sovereign nations without repercussions

They are not ruled by fanatical islamists. Another reason is that Turkey is populated by hard working, honest people. They have already shipped their non productive people to Germany.

Several reasons, one, they have always had strong connections with Germany, first world type country and role model, two they were fortunate enough to have leaders who didn't have there heads up there religious @ss.
