Sundin - Crosby - Malkin
I think that would be quite a scary line to play against. Think of the opportunities that Sudin would give Crosby and vice versa.

With Roberts gone, Pittsburgh might be looking for veteran leadership. With the way Toronto is, they may be looking to move Sundin.

I don't think this is actually too far fetched.
In the next two years (not including this one), Pittsburgh will have to sign or trade or let go of the following players:
Malkin
Staal
Roberts - Might be done anyway
Malone
Ruutu
Fluery
Conklin
Armstrong
Talbot
Malkin and Fleury will be in for big pay raises, Staal should be as well. So essentially they can't keep all these young studs.
With Roberts career possibly over, there is little veteran leadership on that organization (minus Super Mario himself).

I wouldn't be so sure Toronto wouldn't move Sundin. Come trade deadline there will be a market.

It would be incredibly scary. Let's just say...lots of goals there.
I would really enjoy Sundin to come to Pittsburgh...but I think the chances are unlikely.
With Gary Roberts gone they need a new man though.
Although a Sundin, Crosby and Malkin line would be awesome...let's pretend Sundin did come. I think the lines should be like
Sundin - Crosby - Armstrong
and then
(somebody) - Malkin - Petr Sykora.
Evgeni Malkin is too good, he should have his own line. I think Therrien is dumb to put them on the same line.

The renegotiation that Sundin and Toronto worked on in the summer includes an exclusive no-trade clause.
In other words, he isn't going anywhere this year. Mats is extremely aware that there are 29 other teams that think he is the missing piece to the Stanley Cup puzzle, but relocation is not something he wants. Come noon on July 1st, he may change his mind. He'll be 37 in 6 weeks, retirement is also something he has been considering for quite some time.

Only way these fantasy lines will happen, is on NHL2K8, or the all star game. Lets get back to reality.

ok well i look at the names not having a single clue what the line is or might mean!!
Is it a sporting lineup that you automatically assume the whole world will know about ?
If so sorry my friend but the world does not revolve around that particular sport so maybe when you ask the question you could for the benefit of non Americans clarify which particular sport you might be referring to.

How scary would this line look?
Ovechkin - Lecavalier - St. Louis?
Will it ever happen? No.
Neither will yours.
EDIT - Toronto won't move Sundin.
